I like the clear bags, it's much easier to find you stuff. You won't be able to remember where you put all this crap. Leave gear outside in the rain with no worries.

Super roomy tent for 2 people. 4.5 lbs packed and tight as a drum. Can fit 3 people but it's tight. Get the gear loft too.

Look it up on backpacker magazine website, they sprayed it with a hose and there were no leaks. I really like the Big Agnes products, and this was my first.

You always need good coffee to get you out of your sleeping bag. This is really for "personal" use, with two people you will be loading it up with coffee and water repeatedly. I like the good old stainless percolator, too.

All the tools you should need minus a silicone-like spatula. The sponge sucks but is a good starter. You can stuff a lot more stuff into the little mesh bag it comes with, very convenient for holding the rest of your "kitchen".

Go with the large size, it's not huge but just right.

This is the best saw I have ever seen, and you will not find it in the camping section. The saw is two piece so it breaks down into a small package.

Good all-around knife, but the action sucks out of the box. The blade is sharp and holds an edge. Cheap knives are much easier to accidentally part with (lose) then a nice Benchmade or other high quality blade.
